The Naked Brothers Band episodes are part of The Naked Brothers Band documentary-rockumentary-mockumentary musical comedy television series on Nickelodeon. It is executive produced and created by Polly Draper (who starred as Ellyn from ABC's hit drama series thirtysomething), who also writes and directs most of the episodes. It stars her real-life sons, Nat and Alex Wolff who write, compose, and perform all the music in the show. Since, Nat and Alex were toddlers they have always loved The Beatles and inspired them musically. Draper's husband, Michael Wolff is a jazz pianist-composer (who was the band-leader and musical director of The Arsenio Hall Show). Wolff stars as the boys' geeky father, who plays the accordion, and acts like a kid. Wolff also co-executive produces, music supervises and music produces the TV show.

This movie is part documentary and part rock-mockumentary musical comedy. The plot centers around two real-life brothers, Nat and Alex Wolff, who are part of a band called the Silver Boulders. The band features lead singer-songwriter and keyboardist Nat Wolff, drummer Alex Wolff, guitarist Joshua Kaye, keyboardist David Levi (who has known the Wolff brothers since pre-school), cellist Thomas Batuello, and the band's manager Cooper Pillot. Nat and Alex think they are living the good life until the band goes through superstardom, adolescence, and a band break up.
