Note from Dan Schneider:
Dan Schneider announced in a Twitter post that they would be wrapping up on Season 4 with 12 more episodes, completing the original 26-episode order. On April 14, 2011, Nickelodeon officially announced the 5th season renewal of iCarly. A total of 13 episodes will be produced for that season, with production beginning in 2012 with the episodes airing later that year.

Later, they get stuck in the closet, so Sam has to help them by distracting Ms Briggs. When they get caught, Ms Briggs insists on performing her bagpipes on iCarly, which makes the show lose viewers, until the three activate the greenscreen and changing backgrounds, making Ms. Briggs seem better, and the audience to increase again. | ||||

Meanwhile, Sam and Freddie have engaged in their bet that if Sam can't finish a book in a week, what happens is unknown, but expected will be something embarrassing to Sam. If Sam can finish a book in a week, the "usual pay up" was involving Freddie sticking a washing hose down his pants with the water turned on to make it look like he urinated in his pants. Sam got interested in books for the first time. It was time to practice for iCarly. Then Sam remembered about the bet, then she told Freddie to pay her. Then Freddie asked for what. Sam told him that she was finished reading the whole book cover-to-cover. Then Freddie asked a question about the book. Then Sam answered it right. Freddie complained. Then they went to the kitchen, then Sam gave the washing hose to Freddie. But Freddie didn't do the payment immediately, but first he looked at Carly, then she said yes by expression, then he looked at Sam, and she said yes by expression. Then Freddie stuck the washing hose down his pants. After that, Sam turned the water switch on. Now, with the water turned on, it looks like Freddie urinated in his pants. He got embarrassed in front of Carly and Sam. Carly didn't laugh, Sam laughed a little and smiled. Then Carly said she'll go get the mop. | ||||

It isn't long before Carly realizes how lovesick Ms. Ackerman is getting. Spencer dumps her, and she gets upset, taking it out on her students.

Now Spencer and Ms. Benson must save Carly, Sam, and Freddie in time for the iWeb Awards.

Magically a Christmas angel named Mitch appears and sets out to earn his wings by showing her what her life would be like if Spencer were a ho-hum, buttoned-up lawyer: Sam's in a Juvenile Detention Center since "normal" Spencer never allowed the girls to play together. Freddie's smitten with an obnoxious girl at school. Only if Mitch gets his wings, will Carly's Christmas and her life be happy once again.

| After Freddie handcuffs Sam to Gibby, in retaliation for putting a dead fish in his locker, Sam sets out for revenge. She overhears Freddie admitting to Carly that he's never been kissed by a girl. Sam tells everyone Freddie's never kissed anyone on iCarly, and everyone begins to tease him at school. Freddie won't go to school, or to iCarly rehearsals. Sam feels guilty about Freddie being picked on, so on the next iCarly Sam tells everyone to stop teasing him, and admits she never was kissed, either. Sam goes over to Freddie on the fire escape and he was watching iCarly, and they talk about how dumb it is to be so worked up about not kissing anyone. Freddie suggests that they kiss each other to set things right. The two kiss, and no one, not even Carly, will know.
Note: In the episode iWill Date Freddie Freddie is seen kissing Valerie, his girlfriend, but he says "it wasn't a real kiss". | ||||

The next day, Archuleta wins, and is revealed that iCarly was why Archuleta won. Collins tells a sob story about how his mother is ill, and iCarly invites him on to make a music video because they feel sorry for him. However, after the webcast they learn Collins is extremely rude and then after the video, learn that Wade's mother isn't ill, and then the iCarly crew invite Archuleta on to expose Collins. Meanwhile, Sam teaches Spencer to lie when he gets a letter that claims he has a movie that is 10-years overdue with a $3600 fine.

Fans (of Fred) begin to start hating iCarly, and in particular Freddie himself. Paparazzi begin to follow the iCarly crew on the online fight between the two shows. Eventually, Freddie regrets what he said on iCarly, and Fred reveals that the entire thing was publicity that increases the popularity of both webshows. Meanwhile, Spencer consults a "magic meatball" to make decisions for him eventually buying an ostrich and naming it Marvin.

This is a ICarly Spin Off that will take place in 2013 & will mark as the 6th. season but it not. It is Season 1 (1XX as of 101 to presents)

- While the rumors have been swirling that iCarly was set to end, Nickelodeon has just renewed their popular show for a six season call "iCarly: Sam and Cat" but it is to be known as Season 1 "Sam & Cat".
According to reports even though Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor have their own Nickelodeon series the two will also be hopping over to the iCarly set as well. Although, there is no word yet on whether Miranda Cosgrove will also be doing double duty. The 19 year old actress is set to start her studies in the fall. She has also commented that while her show is a big success she does find it hard to break out of the role and challenge herself with different roles. n expanding her acting roles she says that’s a challenge and says “It’s hard to find something that’s a little bit edgy but that everyone can still watch. I’m waiting to find something right.”

- The show will follow Cat and Sam moving in together as roommates and starting a babysitter business to fund their crazy adventures. Although, we can’t quite imagine who would leave their kids with temperamental Sam and crazy Cat. Still, we can’t wait to see how this seemingly odd couple fit together.
- In the premise of the show, Sam team up with Cat as roommates and start a babysitting business to fund for their adventures after her best friend Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) lift for with dad after the last ICarly web cast ended.
